The car

Is still running pretty well, hence it will continue to serve as my transportation until such time as it no longer starts. It's been decieded. Although i'm thinking about getting a roof rack for it and then getting another jetta of the same body style so that it will fit the next car. that would be awesome.

Boy oh boy.

I like working. Started this week, and now have four days and about 35 hours in the bag. Waking up at 5, start at 6, finished around 4, good people to work with, and free golf. Aside from being pretty tired most of the time it's awesome. I try to stay on the brightside, which is easy because on of my co-workers works a second job from 4-9 so no matter how tired and sore I get, he's already done it and survived, So I see it as if he can do it and more, then i should be able to the work done and be in on time. Right? Right!
Lets see... No longer in the house of sorrow and we're working on getting it on the market, although my new found work hours coupled with Dad's work schedule is making it look like getting it ready will be difficult.
Who ever would have thought that getting your taxes done late would be so awesome? Cause of reason unknown to me, my 2007 return didn't get filed until last week, so that with my 2008 return are going to come back in a few weeks giving me more money then i've seen in a long time. My mind is going bonkers with all the things i could do with it, including secure a loan for a new car and updating my wee little bmx bike along with restoring some projects which i'd love to get going. No final desicions will be made until I have both checks safely in my hand or bank.
My Cat Mitch is here, He's awesome.
Yeah, i guess that is all for now. I'm contemplating taking a nap. although i think the rents just came home... so we'll see. either way this blog session is over. Til next time!

My Sister is awesome.

And amazing.
And as near to being totally self-less as I've encountered.

Love you Red!

"Why do you think it is ok to fail?"

Another day.

A call home last night has lead me to seriously consider putting my education on hold in exchange for some time for personal development.
Meaning:
- making myself accountable to myself in matter pertaining to my well being.
- waking up before noon... preferable closer to 6.
- sleeping at night rather then during the day.
- decrease the amount of time spent engaging in leisure activities. (Video Games*)
- determine what i want from and for myself in life.
- commit and accompish a goal. (any goal, just something i see through to the end.)
- Quit Smoking.
- stop drinking booze as an escape.

On the bright side... there are some things i'm proud of. I have...
- quit doing drugs.

perhaps i'll add to that list later.
that is all for now.

Do it for yourself and those around you, cause right now you're on the road to becoming a "non-contributing zero".

Exploring my Gmail account leads to....

Rediscovering a blog page I prepared a couple years ago.

I find myself asking why blogging has become so popular? Perhaps it's the unbridled prospect of talking about one's self, a modern journal for those of us who have forgotten how to write legibly, an opportunity to better one's spelling, a chance to feel truly part of the wondrous public domain of the internet, or perhaps it's just the hip thing to do. Regardless of the cause of the growth of the blog, I've decided to give it a go. although I have yet to determine to what end I pursue this endeavor.

Life is a funny thing, although this is something that i know, and hope that you might know, with neither writing nor reading this. Life can build or break you. However, to say simply that it is Life which determines the outcome is an epic folly. We are all active players in our own lives, and our actions, or inaction for that matter, are what truly shape the world around us, causing our own personal strengths and personal weaknesses. There can be no better test of the staying power of an individual then life. I say this meaning that the persona that a person presents is sometimes not constant and can be distorted, for better or worse, by events and the way that person handles them.

This is the crossroad where I have found myself, more specifically, do I cause pain to myself and others in a effort to promote the possibility of a better future for myself or do I continue in a numbed state toward an end I truly cannot foresee myself capable of handling. It's funny how the obvious answer is the one I fear the most, fearing not the monstrosity I could allow myself to become if I continue on the path I'm on, I would rather avoid the prospect of pain for fear that I would ruin the opportunity for self betterment.

And so for now I sit, harnessed into the ride that my life has become, sitting in the back of the train, with blinders, unaware of the loops and turns coming my way, all the while screaming, "I want to get off".
